Kate Moss: Covers Not One But Four i-D Pre SS13 covers

Kate Moss has definatly still got it! The fact that she ison the cover of not one but four Pre-Spring Summer 2013 i-D covers proves it.While bright young models such as Cara Delevingne and Jordun Dunn are seeminglytaking over the fashion world and magazines. Kate Moss has managed to show whyshe the ultimate supermodel once again.

 

The covers were styled by Charlotte Stockdale and shot byDaniele + Iango featuring clothes from the much coveted labels of the moment,Saint Laurent, Prada, Dior and Balenciaga.
The covers have been kept very simple with Moss in naturalmakeup with her hair crimped with the main focus being Kate's face, as well asthe beautiful clothes and accessories or course.

 

My favourite cover has to be the black and whiteone with her hair to the side in a messy fishtail braid, I think it reflectsKate Moss's edginess and she looks absolutely stunning and half her age! I  also want those Balenciaga rings right nowplease!

Cara Delevingne is the New Face of Pepe Jeans

It looks like this year will be even better than the lastfor the lovely Cara Delevingne. Not only is she March's UK Vogue cover girl(which she looks seriously good in I must add) but she has now been announcedas the new face of Pepe Jeans, following in the very fashionable footsteps ofSienna Miller and Alexa Chung.

The New Campaign featuring Cara as the face of the brand tomark Pepe's 40^th anniversary was shot in London's Notting Hill byJosh Olins where the famous jeans brand was born.

 

I seriously can not wait to see the final images...

Lavin's New SS13 Campaign Video

A lot of you may have already seen this video, but for thoseof you that haven't your in for a treat. I'm absolutely in love with thiscampaign video for many reasons; beautiful clothes, beautiful models, beautifullocation and who couldn't love the fact that you get to see Alber Elbaz in thecorner throughout gushing about the video.

Reason being that poor Alber couldn't make it to the videoshoot due to Hurricane Sandy and other commitments back in Paris meaning he wasforced to oversea the video shoot via the wonder that is Skype!

Take a look at the video for yourself and I'm sureafterwards all of your Skype conversations will just feel a little bitordinary...

Beyonce's Super Bowl Performance

If your anything like me you stayed up last night to watch the Super Bowl, and not for the all American football game either but for the hotly anticipated 12 minute performance from Queen B herself...Beyonce. After all the instagram teasers she's been posting over the last few weeks of her in rehearsals we all new it was going to be a GOOD show, and Beyonce did not disappoint.

Not only was her performance amazing (and don't get me started on the Destiny’s Child reunion performance...I'll literally explode!) but it was just too much for New Orleans big old stadium to handle as the power was out for a good half an hour after Bey's performance, she literally shut the place down!

 

The real winner of the night (in my eyes sorry Raven's) was Rubin Singer the New York based designer who created the beautiful leather body suit with delicate lace overlay and the super cool Motorcycle jacket that she performed in. He also designed her fellow band mate Michelle Williams costume along with all 120 backing dancers to boot, pretty impressive for an up and coming designer no?

Machine – A Opening in London

 

 

The concept store Machine – A will be opening a permanent store on Febuary the 17^th on non other than London's very own Brewer Street (number 13 to be exact).

It's an exciting time as the concept store founded by Stravos Karelis has never had a permanent residence. It's a store that will work with up-and-coming designers on collaborations and show cases and will offer them the chance of gaining their first retail space.
When asked about the store and his reasoning behind it Karelis said “My personal Aim is to offer, inspirational collections, innovative products and comfortable high quality clothes”
Which the store promises to offer with this very impressive list of designers:
The store will house collections from brand new designers such as Agi and Sam, Ashley Williams and Shaun Samson. Up-and-comers Louise Gray, Sibling and Christopher Raeburn as well as well known labels such as Chalayan, Raf Simons and Mugler.
Meaning there will be something for everyone and you might even come across a new designer gem or two.

Mila Kunis Miss Dior Autumn Winter 2012 Video Campaign

A few weeks ago the images of Mila Kunis' Miss Dior Autumn Winter 2012 campaign were released and as usual Mila looked as stunning and elegant as ever. However to accompany the print campaign Dior have released a 30 second black and white video which sees Miss Kunis running around town effortlessly whilst posing for the paparazzi and considering she is one of the hottest actresses of the moment, as well as being part of one of the most talked about couples in Hollywood right now it is a seamlessly fitting video.
