First things first...IM BACK!! I know I know I've been M.I.A for the last few weeks, its all due to the fact that I've been switching Internet providers, nothing at all interesting, but basically it all went wrong and alas I was without Internet. Its thankfully all sorted now.

So on with this post...Whilst my Internet was down Interview Magazine released the pictures of this months cover girl Katy Perry's editorial, so sorry if you've seen and talked about these pictures already.
I am totally in love with these shots Perry looks absolutely breathtaking in these black and white photos that embodies all the glamour of the 1920's.

Katy Perry: Interview Magazine March 2012 Cover

Katy Perry is Interview Magazine's latest cover girl (yes that is indeed Katy Pery), the March cover was shot by Mikael Jansson and styled by Karl Templer.

At first glance Katy is somewhat unrecognisable, with her Amy Winehouse inspired eye make-up and sexy smouldering 60's makeover. But I have to say I love Katy's latest look, its a much more grown up darker look than we've seen from Miss Perry and it really suits her.

I can't wait to see the full editorial from this shoot and the interview sounds even more promising as she's being interviwed by one of the funnyest women ever Kristen Wiig!

Best Dressed: Pre-Oscar Parties

Last night there were a number of different Pre-Oscar parties all across LA and an array of celebrities gracing the red-carpets. There were alot of dresses to ooh and ahh over so here are my Best Dressed from last nights red-carpet appearances.

Last night Cecconi's Restaurant hosted the Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party. Gwyneth Paltrow kept it simple in a stunning black tux like jumpsuit with plunging neckline and silk lapels.
While both Jessica Chastain Vanessa Hudgens both went for jewel bright dresses.
Jessica Chastain opted for a mid length bright pink Elie Saab Spring 2011 cocktail dress, I think this dress looks lovely on her as it suits her figure and the colour is stunning, however I'm not to sold on the shoes I think she played it far too safe.
Vannessa Hudgens on the other hand decided to go for a bright orange silk maxi gown by Tibi this dress looks great on her as the colour really complements her skin tone and the cut of the dress is understated but still sexy.

Two equally stylish ladies at two different parties both opted for the LWD. Emma Stone wore a beautiful white embroidered full skirted dress by Elie Saab at the 5th Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon. This dress is just so cute and girly on her I love it.

While Nicole Richie attended the QVC Buzz on the Red-Carpet Party in a bodycon strapless dress with sequin detailing by Ungaro. I love the glamour of this dress without it being to over the top.

Uniqlo have released a fun filled video called "Make Life More Colourful" to celebrate the launch of their colourful new denim range. The video shows fashionistas of all different ages having fun in their colourful denim. It stars the likes of Cyndi Lauper, 15-year-old blogger and editor of Rookie Mag Tavi Gevinson, model Alek Wek and ballet dancer Laura Love. The collection its self consists of eight different shades that range from sugary pastels to seriously bright brights in all different shapes from just £29.90. Marni for H&M Campaign

As I'm sure your all aware by now Marni are the latest designer label to collaborate with the high street store H&M. A few weeks ago I posted the campaign video shot by Sofia Coppola in Marrakech, the full look book of the collection was released a few days ago and have been all over the Internet, and now the campaign images have been released.
The ad campaign just like the campaign video were shot by Sofia Coppola and feature model Liu Wen and the actress Imogen Poots who also features in the campaign video.

The way campaign has been shot with the soft quality to the pictures and the muted colours gives this campaign a dreamy quality. I can't wait to get my hands on practically alll of this collection. See you in the queue on March the 8th!
